AIIDE 2019: Human-Centred Evaluation
We're thrilled to be part of the 2019 Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment conference (AIIDE'19), taking place in Atlanta, USA from 8 to 12 October 2019.
Simon Demediuk is submitting a paper to the conference and speaking about the impact of DC Labs work, with a specific focus on analytics.
Sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), AIIDE brings together researchers and practitioners who work in AI for entertainment, including game designers, creative technologists, and media artists and academic and industrial AI researchers.
This year’s conference features a special theme of “Human-Centered Evaluation”. In addition to general topics of interest in entertainment AI, the conference program features speakers, panels, and paper sessions that focus on directly evaluation and critical analysis of AI in digital entertainment contexts.
AIIDE’19 will include invited speakers, research and practitioner presentations, panels, playable experiences, project demonstrations, interactive poster sessions, product exhibits, workshops, a doctoral consortium, the StarCraft AI Competition, and an artifact evaluation. Researchers and developers come together to share insights and cutting-edge results from a wide range of AI-related projects. The conference will also include presentation of a) results from core AI research areas applicable to interactive digital entertainment and b) AI approaches developed and fielded in entertainment experiences.
