Digital Creativity Labs and IGGI: Games Research Festivities; an opportunity to play
The University has £30 million invested in research in Games and Interactive Media through the Digital Creativity Labs and the Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent Games and Games Intelligence (IGGI) . These projects are creating new and exciting areas of research and impact for the University.
Digital Creativity Labs celebrated our first birthday in October. We are a world centre of excellence for impact driven research in games, interactive media and the rich space where they converge.
This open house event is to give staff an overview of the progress we have made so far; an opportunity to meet and talk to the researchers and to play interactive games in the real world, on computer and in virtual reality. There will be festive welcome of mulled wine and mince pies. It is an event to drop into throughout the afternoon, so please come along.
