Dr Sandra Pauletto

Sandra was a Senior Lecturer in Sound Design at the Department of Theatre, Film, TV and Interactive Media with a background in physics, music and music technology.
In January 2019 she took up the role of Associate Professor in Media Technology at KTH in Sweden. She remains an Associate in DC Labs and a supervisor on the IGGI programme.
Her research interests are highly interdisciplinary and include sound and music computing, sonic interaction design, auditory displays, interactive media, and generally sound applications in a variety of fields such as health, the creative industries, voice, etc.
Recent projects during her time at University of York include: the SCORe Project: Using Sonification to COmmunicate public health Risk data (Principal Investigator), and the EU Cost Action on Sonic Interaction Design (UK representative).
