A talk from Nick Bax, Creative Director of Human
A creative agency with credentials in design, digital, moving image and immersive, Human creates experiences that explore new paths of communication and creative expression.
The studio has exhibited work in galleries and venues in Europe, Japan, Brazil and the United States, collaborating with academics, artists, institutions and global brands on interactive projects for live events and online.
For over 30 years Nick's career has spanned the fields of art, creative direction and graphic design. He was part of the eminent creative collective The Designers Republic for 15 years before launching the multi-disciplinary agency Human in 2007.
Nick's research examines XR storytelling and the recreation of memory and individuals via immersive technology. His work explores applications of immersive technology within the arts and humanities, including how extended reality (XR) can allow us to ‘see through time’ within everyday environments and experiences.
