New TFTI television studio

The TFTI technical team has built a brand new television studio that will serve as an exciting new teaching and learning space for TFTI students.

'Studio 3' is located between the TFTI building and The Catalyst building on the University's Campus East. The space was previously used as a Robot Lab for the Department of Computer Science.

The TFTI team was inspired to build the studio after working closely with Promod Esports as part of the Weavr R&D project. During this time the team observed innovative processes that enabled the creation of high quality productions within a reasonable budget. When the Robot Lab became available the team was able to revamp this facility into a professional studio on a limited budget. 

Studio 3 is equipped with state of the art equipment which includes a Calrec Type R audio mixer; 4k PTZ, and Blackmagic Ursa cameras; Black Magic ATEM vision mixer with control panels; Chamsys MagicQ + MiniWing lighting controllers and LED lighting.
